Today's Menu

Breakfast: (I was craving the warm oatmeal I always used to heave)
1 apple, chopped and cooked in a bit of butter, with
2 Tbs raisins, then a added
a splash of half and half at the end, and topped with cinnamon and a couple spoonfuls of
chopped walnuts. Yum!

Unfortunately it didn't keep me full long... snack:
bowl of baby carrots with some roasted red pepper dip (mayonnaise, whole milk yogurt, cream cheese, roasted red peppers and spices)

Lunch: big salad of
red lead lettuce and spinach
cucumbers, mushrooms, shredded carrots
a couple pieces artichoke hearts
some marinated mushrooms
4 oz tilapia (leftover)
and a slice of bacon

Full until dinner, which was a smallish chicken breast (because Chris kept stealing pieces of it) rolled up around some fresh blue cheese.... also yum. And LOTS of zucchini that I cooked in some butter and Mrs.Dash seasoning... tried to add some half and half to that too but that was a little weird. Good none the less, and I cooked it in my le creuset dutch oven thing which was a bad idea, at least with the lid on, because it got really mushy and 3.5 cups cooked down to about a cup and a half, which I ate all of (Chris had a work dinner tonight).

Dessert was an an Asian pear.

All in all, very full, especially after lunch and then the Asian pear, for some reason. But, calories, according to fitday was only 1,664 (had to estimate on the amount of chicken and recipe for marinated mushrooms) which is less than my non-primal average of 1,900 to 2,000.
